IGHSAU Class 1A Third Team All-State

Jordan Carter, Senior, Sigourney

Carter wrapped up her high school volleyball career with an astounding 1,143 kills in four years, including 355 as a junior and 344 as a senior. Jordan also tallied at least 200 digs in a season twice, finishing with 712 for her career. Carter, who will play volleyball and softball at Marshalltown Community College, also registered 203 career aces and 112 career blocks, while earning First Team All-SICL honors three times.

Madison Sheetz, Senior, Keota

Sheetz’s magnificent prep volleyball career was capped by being named to the Iowa Girls’ High School Athletic Union’s Third Team All-State for Class 1A. Sheetz tallied at least 200 kills in each of her final three years for Keota, ending her four-year career with 855. Madison was especially productive in her final two seasons, recording a career best 314 kills as a senior and 196 digs as a junior. Along with her 855 career kills, Sheetz finished with 373 career digs, 113 aces and 55 blocks, all while leading the Eagles to a 2014 conference title.

First Team All-District Volleyball

Callie Greiner, Senior, Keota

The unanimous First Team All-SICL libero ended her senior season with 221 digs and helped lead the Eagles to an outright conference championship. Greiner accumulated 457 digs in just two seasons of substantial playing time. Callie had 12 digs as a sophomore, before stepping into the starting lineup and registering 224 as a junior.
