The four-year stretch of Mediapolis winning the SEISC North is over. On Thursday, Coach Davis Eidahl’s Pekin boys’ track and field team won its 36^th conference title, topping Mediapolis by 17 points and winning five events.

“Our team came to compete,” said Eidahl. “We were not ranked high in many events, but the team stepped up. Everyone did their part, and more. And when you score 52 points in the field events, that is big.”
