Bears Roll to Regional Finals

5-19 1^st Round Regionals @ North English (girls)

Only one team at girls’ Sectionals in North English last Monday finished with a score of less than 400, and that one team was none other than English Valleys.

Jeff Kingland’s EV girls’ golf team advanced to the Regional Finals by finishing its day with a total score of 397 -- 16 fewer strokes than second-place North Tama.

The Bears had three golfers finish in the Top 5, including Rylee Voss, who placed third overall with a 94. North Linn’s Jessica Franson took the individual title by finishing with an 83, while Dunkerton sophomore Brittany Norem got second with an 85.
