Belle Plaine Track Hosts EV, SHS & TC Boys

The English Valleys, Sigourney and Tri-County varsity boys’ track and field squads competed in their second outdoor meet of the season last week at Belle Plaine, alongside a host of other SICL teams and schools such as North Linn, GMG and Don Bosco.

Of the three area teams competing, the Savages compiled the highest point total, finishing the meet with 45 team points. Tri-County finished the night with 32 points, while English Valleys tallied 26.

The sophomore improved on his previous best mark by jumping 19’9.75’’ to win silver at Belle Plaine.
