Bernice Allar, age 96, of Sigourney, died Sunday, April 5, 2015, at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney.

Bernice was born July 9, 1918, in Thornburg, Iowa, to William and Alma (Forney) Ogden.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney, with Rev. Rich Pippert officiating. Burial will be at Sixteen Cemetery near Thornburg. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the funeral home.
