Carter Earns All-State Honors

Sigourney senior Jordan Carter is among impressive company when it comes to postseason volleyball honors.

Carter has been named to the Des Moines Register’s Elite All-State Team, which is limited to just 12 players from each of the state’s five classes.

Along with five other girls in Class 1A, Jordan earned Second-Team honors on the Register’s Elite All-State Team.

Carter finished third in all of Class 1A with 4.71 kills per set and ninth with 344 total kills. Her average of 4.71 kills per set ranks 11^th in the state, regardless of class.
