Catherine Mary Johnston

Catherine Mary Johnston, 98, of North English, died Monday Sept. 15 at the English Valley Care Center.  She was born on April 23, 1916, near Armah in Iowa County

      A funeral mass was held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 19 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in North English. Visitation was held at Powell Funeral Home in North English from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18, with a Rosary held at 5:00 p.m. Burial was in the White Pigeon Cemetery, rural Webster, beside her husband of 48 years.
