County approves bridge and road projects

 

A bridge project estimated to cost around $430,000 and paid for primarily through federal dollars and the issue of when the county should get involved in road projects involving municipalities both came up Monday before Keokuk County’s Board of Supervisors.

County financial support for a road project in Thornburg was approved Monday as Keokuk County Supervisors discussed what criteria should be used to determine when the county should tackle work involving municipalities.
