County Bank Visits Sigourney Elementary

            Sigourney Elementary students got to learn the importance of saving, spending wisely and the roles of a bank when representatives from County Bank visited the school on Tuesday, April 26.

            County Bank’s Lucas Meier, Vice President of Operations, and Amy Halleran, Vice President of Home Lending, have been visiting with students about finances for years, with many older students seeing them since kindergarten. Meier and Halleran take a different approach with the age groups; reading books about saving to preschool through 3^rd grade, and holding hands on activities for 4^th-6^th grade.
