Crunch Time Nears for Keota VB

All of the hard work, sweat, and maybe some blood and tears, put in over the past three months by the Keota volleyball team, are making their way to the forefront in the most crucial part of the season.

            The Eagles, who are ranked tenth in Class 1A, battled it out with a pair of conference foes last week, before heading to Saturday’s tournament in Washington. All in all, the Eagles finished with three wins and three losses, but most importantly, remained unbeaten in conference play.

            “As a whole, the girls are improving every day,” said coach Brandi Cave. “With all the hard work they have put it, having a season like this means a lot, especially for the seniors. Through sickness, through injuries, they’ve really come together.”
