D. Jim Moore, 84, of Oskaloosa and formerly of rural Thornburg passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at the Oskaloosa Care Center in Oskaloosa. David Jim Moore, son of Clair and Elizabeth (McKay) Moore was born, September 22, 1929, rural Thornburg.

Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 18, at Garland-Van Arkel-Langkamp Funeral Chapel with Pastor Hans Cornelder of the White Oak Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Sixteen Cemetery near Thornburg with Military Honors by the Oskaloosa Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital.
