Delta Days kicked off under near ideal conditions over the weekend, a fact that had those involved happy with Mother Nature’s benevolence.

“We had perfect weather, good crowd, very nice parade,” said Dixie Shipley. “The whole day was very successful. Many wonderful volunteers make this day possible.”

Grand Marshal was Mildred Clubb, a life-long resident of Delta and graduate of Delta High School whose family had floats in the parade for many years.
