It was anything but an easy week for the Sigourney boys’ basketball team. On top of playing against two of the better teams in the conference, in BGM and Iowa Valley, the Savages played at Belle Plaine without starter Kevin Weber in a game where the Plainesmen were seeking revenge.

Sigourney played its best game of the week against second-place BGM. A team that has lost to only Montezuma and Keota in SICL play, BGM got more than it expected from the Savages.
