Dylan Seaton continues to produce off the track

It’s still early in the season but the Trojans have found some of their best finishes in short distance and field events. The positives continued off the track when the boys competed in the Warhawk Invitational on April 5.

    Dylan Seaton was in two field events, one of which he was in the top half of the competitive field. He finished fifth place with 101’-3.00” in the discus and finished 13th in the shot put with 31’-2.00”. On the track, the Trojans had six top-10 finishes in the open events they competed in.

    In the open 100-meter dash Tri-County had Aydan Bos and Brayden Monroe finish in ninth and tenth place, respectively. Bos ran a time of 12.60 seconds, while Monroe was right behind him with 12.64 seconds. In the 200-meter dash, Bos finished ninth with 25.75 seconds and Monroe finished fifth (59.54) in the 400-meter dash.

    Other results as follows:

    200-meter dash: Brandt Molyneux finished 14th (29.26)

    400-meter dash: Brandt Molyneux finished ninth (1:04.91)

    800-meter run: Jakoby Williams took ninth (2:52.37), Bryce Beckett finished 11th (2:57.43)

    4x100-meter relay: Tri-County finished eighth (57.93)

    800-meter sprint medley: Tri-County finished eighth (1:59.59)

    Discus: Grant Rauhauser finished 15th (53’-9.00”)

    Shot Put: Noah McCammant finished 15th (29’-11.00”)

    The Trojans are scheduled to compete next on April 17 at Montezuma High.
