Eugene “Bubsy” Strohman

Eugene “Bubsy” Strohman, age 80, of Sigourney, died Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney. Bubsy was born May 26, 1934, in Harper, to John J. and Marie (Hart) Strohman.

The funeral mass is at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney, with Rev. Charles Fladung officiating.  Burial is at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Sigourney.  Visitation is from 4 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, at Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney, where there will be a wake service at 4. A memorial fund has been established for Keokuk County Hospice or St. Mary Catholic Church.  Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Sigourney is caring for Bubsy and his family.
