Five Keokuk County Offices Open

 

There may be five county offices up for grabs this election year, but two current elected officials have already returned their nomination papers confirming their intentions to seek re-election.

 

County Recorder, Melissa Bird and County Supervisor, Mike Hadley have returned their nomination papers as of March 7. The other offices up for consideration this election are County Treasurer, County Attorney and another Supervisor seat. The Auditor’s office confirmed each current official has taken out nomination papers.

 

Any other interested Keokuk County residents may obtain candidate nomination papers for the June third Primary at the Keokuk County Auditor’s Office and online for all available county seats.

 

The last day to file nomination papers is Wednesday, March 26, at 5 p.m. in the Keokuk County Auditor’s Office.
