Sigourney

Autum Barthelman (JR) 1^st Team All-Conference & 2A Central All-District Team

Autum followed up her good sophomore season with a tremendous output in her junior campaign. Autum was the Lady Savages leading scorer with 17.4 points per contest, and she also added 3.5 rebounds a game. Barthelman played excellent on both sides as she accumulated 117 steals on the season; nearly a five steal a game average. She also averaged about four assists a contest with 94 total on the season. Barthelman accumulated 88 rebounds, while shooting over 160 attempts from the free throw line. She had a total of 434 points on the year and shot 68 percent from the charity stripe. Barthelman will look put one more great season of Sigourney basketball on the books, and look to keep toping her previous achievements in her glorious Lady Savage career.

English Valleys

Audrey Grove (JR) 2^nd Team All-Conference & 1A Southeast All-District

Grove has been a bright star at EV over the past couple seasons, and she continues to develop as a player and at times seemingly take over games when she needs to for her team. She has put in a lot of hard work, as has all the girls, and that work as paid major dividends for Grove. She was a slim miss for 1^stTeam All-Conference, being undoubtedly a tough call for those who choose these prestigious awards due to her excellent body of work this year. Grove averaged 14 points and 5.8 rebounds a game this year, while scoring 308 total points and shooting over 38 percent from the field. She also showed her complete arsenal, dropping 53 dimes to her teammates, and snagging 72 steals. Grove had 42 blocks on the year and 128 total boards, with 39 being on the offensive glass. Grove will look to continue to grow as a player and help keep the EV Lady Bears on the rise.
