HLV Bests EV to Open SICL Play

The HLV Warriors are expected to compete in the top half of the South Iowa Cedar League, and that was evident last Thursday in North English.

            The Warriors swept English Valleys in three sets (25-15, 25-16, 25-19) and handed EV (1-10, 0-1) a loss in the Bears’ first conference match.

            The Bears picked up their first win of the season a week prior against Harmony at a tournament in Wapello, winning the first set by a score of 21-15, and the second by a score of 21-14.
