Hubert Gent

Hubert died on Friday, June 19, 2015 at his home in Kalona at the age of 71 years, surrounded by his wife and children, after a hard-fought battle with brain lymphoma. A Funeral Mass was will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond. Burial will follow in St Patrick’s Little Creek Cemetery near Kinross. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona where a Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Miracles in Motion Therapeutic Equestrian Center and Trappist Caskets for Children.
