Influx of Panthers for Annual Cross Country Camp

Last week the Pekin cross country program hosted its annual camp at Camp Mitigwa, which is south of Boone. 65 Panthers from Pekin’s middle school and high school teams spent five days at Camp Mitigwa preparing for their upcoming seasons.

High school cross country coaches Davis Eidahl and Sarah Wright, along with middle school coach Kaitlin Book, put their runners through various workouts and activities including jogging, biking on trails and swimming.
