Injuries, Inexperience, Doom Trojans at Colo-Nesco

 

            Going into any game without your starting quarterback and running back will make any game difficult, let alone a road game against a one-loss team like Colo-Nesco.

            Quarterback Benjamin Edmundson and running back Jacob Bombei, along with a number of other Trojans, including Clay Harper and Lane Williams, were sidelined in Tri-County’s 62-8 defeat on Friday at Colo.

            “It was a rough night for us,” said Tri-County head coach Scott Edmundson. “We had four freshmen starting for us due to injuries and illness. The young kids played really hard for us.”
