Kathie Irene Hammes, 62, died May 4, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospital, in Iowa City. 

Funeral Service was held Monday at 10:00 a.m. St. Mary Catholic Church, Burial Holy Trinity Cemetery/ St. Elizabeth,  Harper. A memorial fund has been established.
