Lady Eagles Split with IV, Belle Plaine

Games against Iowa Valley typically loom very large for the Keota girls; and vice-versa.

            In the past few seasons we’ve witnessed both teams bring out the best in one another, and with that, we’ve experienced the emotion-fueled atmosphere that makes small-town high school sports unique.

            Another good Iowa Valley squad came to Keota last Tuesday, bringing with it a blowout win over HLV in its only prior game.

            Meanwhile, the Eagles had a week off to prepare, following a gut-wrenching two-point loss to Lynnville-Sully.
