Lady Savages jump out early at HLV, and roll to a 46-22 victory

VICTOR- The Lady Savages remain undefeated on the season as they head into the holiday break after they dismantled HLV, Victor 46-22 on the road Tuesday, Dec. 20. The girls used a 22-0 first quarter run to start the game to put this one away early. The last three quarters were relatively close, but with HLV in such a deep hole, there was no way they could muster enough offensively to overcome Sigourney.

Autum Barthelman led Sigourney in scoring with 13 points, she also added two assists and an astonishing ten steals on the evening. Brooke Waechter followed up her magnificent performance last week with a quality outing on Tuesday, scoring 12 points, grabbing five boards, dishing out two assists and also adding three steals. Leah Carter added seven points and five rebounds, and Anna Ohland had a good night with six points and ten rebounds.

With the victory Sigourney moves to 8-0 overall on the season. They have averaged a scoring margin of over 20-points. Sigourney will be back in action on January 3 at home against BGM. They will look to stay unbeaten and continue to have their sights set on competing for the SICL championship.
