Lady Trojans win big road game against BGM 40-29

BROOKLYN- The Tri-County girls were in action on the road Friday, Jan. 6 at BGM, where they found themselves in a tightly contested matchup against a good BGM Lady Bears squad. The Lady Trojans and Lady Bears were neck and neck for much of the game, but in the fourth quarter the Lady Trojans were able to put the game away and earn a very tough road victory 40-29.

            It was a 19-17 TC lead at the half, and 31-26 game headed into the fourth. Then, TC went on a 9-4 run in the fourth to end the game. Katlyn Little led TC in scoring with 17 points to go with 11 rebounds, six big steals and two assists. Michaela Lundy dropped 11 points and snared 17 huge boards on the night. Kearstan Schmidt hit two huge 3’s for TC as she had six points on the evening. Allison Steinke was a jack-of-all trades scoring four points, grabbing four boards, dishing out three assists and stealing the ball three times. Skyler Fisher had three assists on the night, and Sadie Little scored two points and had three steals as well for TC.
