Large Group State Speech

        The Sigourney High School Speech Team attended Large Group State Speech in Cedar Rapids at Washington High School on Saturday, Feb. 7. The groups attending were: Choral Reading, TV Broadcasting, Short Film and Group Improv. All the groups were awarded with impressive scores and had a very successful year for the speech team. The Choral reading group received three I’s for their reading of ‘Pink and Say’; Short Film ‘Twisted Tales’ received two I's and one II, with other Short Film ‘Sweet Dreams’ receiving two I's and one II. TV Broadcasting received two I's and one II; and Group Improv was awarded with two I's and one II.
