Mismatch With Don Bosco Turns Sour

A final score that created a national stir and provoked displeasure from Tri-County supporters and outsiders alike, unfortunately, is the last image we’ll have from the Trojans’ 2014 varsity football season.

The Trojans scored first but couldn’t compete with unbeaten Don Bosco, who won the game by a score of 102-6.

“I am proud of our kids for not backing down and finishing the game,” TC head coach Scott Edmundson said. “I have been criticized for playing this game, knowing the caliber of team that we were facing. I allowed our kids the opportunity to play this game, thinking that other coaches in our state understood the competition that they were playing, and had the jugdment to control the tempo and score.”
