New director of Nursing for Sigourney Care and Assisted Living

            Becca Yule (Wickenkamp) is the newest addition to the staff at Sigourney Care and Assisted Living. Becca will be filling the position as the Director of Nursing. She will be responsible for managing the nursing and aide staff to give the best possible care to the residents, a support system for the staff and residents, admissions, scheduling and making sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. Her passion is to be a great advocate for the residents, many of them don’t have family close by to be that person for them.

            Yule intends to be very hands on; she does not want to be cooped up in the office. There is a lot of paperwork that goes with the job, but she wants to be out and about. She wants to be a constant for her residents and her staff. She has an open door policy and even joked that she is going to put a sign on her door that says candy, with an arrow. She wants to encourage the staff, residents and family to come in and feel comfortable with her.
