Operation Ka-Boom! Held in Sigourney at KCHC

A table-top exercise called “Operation Ka-Boom!” was held in the Doug Adam Classroom of the Keokuk County Health Center on Monday, May 5.

The Table-Top Exercise (TTX) was facilitated by  Keokuk County Healthcare Preparedness Coalition Exercise Consultant, Jeffry Gauthier, with Sigourney Police Chief, Allan Glandon, Keokuk County Sheriff’s Deputy, Eric Kephart,  Sigourney Fire Chief, Bill Halleran, Keokuk County Ambulance Director, Casey Thompson,  Keokuk County Health Center Administrator, Matt Ives and hospital personnel, Keokuk County First Responders, Keokuk County Board of Health and members of  Keokuk County  Community Services, Keokuk County Public Health Director, Marilyn Waechter, Joyce Bender of Bender Foundry, Dr. Robert Castro, members of the Health Center nursing staff and Keokuk County Emergency Management Coordinator, Larry Smith. Also attending was Keokuk County Supervisor, Mike Hadley.
