Panthers Trounce Seymour in Quarterfinals

Last Thursday’s 1A District quarterfinal matchup between Pekin and Seymour was a mismatch in every sense of the word.

The Panthers took care of business against the four-win Seymour team, 88-31, and moved on to the District semifinals against Wayne, Corydon on Tuesday in Centerville.

The Panthers led 29-7 after the first quarter and increased their lead to 53-17 at the half, before coasting to the finish.
