Last Tuesday Davis Eidahl’s Pekin girls’ squad let one slip away at 11th-ranked (Class 1A) Winfield-Mt. Union, but bounced back to win its final two games of the week.

The Panthers led by nine points at halftime last Tuesday against Winfield-Mt. Union but struggled to maintain composure in the second half, ultimately falling by a count of 47-46. With the win, the Wolves improved to 8-1 in SEISC play.
