Pekin JH Boys and Girls Shine at State

The Pekin junior high cross-country team won multiple team titles at the Middle School State Cross Country Meet at Ankeny Centennial High last Saturday. Led by Remi Duwa and Emily Linder, the seventh-grade girls' team finished first as a team, as did the eighth-grade girls, which was led by Hunter Lock and Kelli Myers. Colton Glosser won the individual title in 1A for the seventh-grade boys, who finished second as a team, while Connor Reed helped Pekin's eighth-grade team to a third-place finish. Way to go Panthers!
