Pekin Pride Takes Over Des Moines

It was everything they wanted it to be, and more.

The Pekin track and field teams combined to take over 20 events to Des Moines last week for the Iowa State Track Meet, and while that, in itself, was a great accomplishment, the Panthers weren’t going to be satisfied by simply going.

They were there to compete.
