Phyllis Clingan of Sigourney passed away on April 13, 2016. She was born July 5, 1934 at home near Highland Center, Iowa to Wayne Nathan and Doris Cleo (Nelson) Sylvester.

Memorials may be made to United Methodist Church, Sigourney Memorial Fountain, or Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2016, at the Sigourney United Methodist Church, with Rev. Rich Pippert officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Ottumwa. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney.
