Republicans score decisive wins in Keokuk County

Iowa – Keokuk County kept up its long trend of being a violet-red county, with voters supporting all the Republican candidates for office, many by wide margins. Unofficial results from the Keokuk County Auditor’s office show that approximately 4,107 voters, accounting for 60 percent of the registered voters, cast ballots in the November 6 midterm election. This accounted for a roughly 400 votes increase from the last midterm election. Voting was reported to be steady throughout the day.
