Road Trip Unkind to English Valleys VB

Trips to Belle Plaine and Sully did not go as well as the English Valleys varsity volleyball team would have liked last week.

            The Bears (1-14, 0-5) were swept in three sets last Monday at Belle Plaine, before losing in four sets three days later at Lynnville-Sully.

            At Belle Plaine, EV played its best set of the night right off the bat. The Bears hung tough with a very good Belle Plaine squad, only to come up nine points short, 25-16. The following two sets were a bit more lopsided, as the Plainesmen won the second set, 25-12, before finishing the match in the third set, 25-15.
