SADC hosts Educators in the Workplace

Educators from all over Southeast Iowa gathered in Sigourney on Wednesday, June 15 for Educators in the Workplace, a program designed to showcase the true needs future students and current teachers should be aware of.

The event has held by Indian Hills Community College, with Sigourney Area Development Corporation (SADC) hosting a luncheon and presentation for the educators. Teachers from Pekin, Wapello, Montezuma and other schools came to listen to several local businessmen about their jobs and what skills they are using, also discussing skills that will be necessary in the future.
