Crunch time has commenced for Logan Mork’s Sigourney golf squad. With limited playing time thus far due to wet weather, any and every meet carries the upmost importance for the Savages.

For the first time in over a week the Savages hit the links on Thursday, May 1, at home against BGM. Because the Bears don’t field a girls’ team, the Sigourney girls were guaranteed a win on this day. Sigourney’s top four girls accounted for a final team score of 203. Leading the way for the Savages was Ashley Shadley. Shadley finished two strokes ahead of any other Savage with a nine-hole round of 49. Finishing with 51s were Stacy Mohr and Kendall Striegel, and Katie Dillon shot a 52. Hannah Redlinger finished up with a 57 while Emily Danowsky shot a 60.
