Schuster earns his Eagle Scout Honor

Earning the rank of Eagle Scout is a great honor. One out of ten scouts earn the rank of Eagle Scout. There are several requirements that an individual must have to earn this rank. You must be active in your troop for a period of at least six months after you have achieved the rank of Life Scout, demonstrate that you live by the principles of the Scout Oath and Scout Law in your daily life, be able to provide a list of individuals who know you personally and would be willing to provide recommendations on your behalf, earn a total of twenty-one merit badges, develop and give leadership to others in a service project that will benefit an organization other than Boy Scouting, and successfully complete an Eagle Scout board of review.
