Sigourney alum Jordan Carter continues college volleyball career at William Penn

OSKALOOSA-Former Sigourney Savage multi-sport star athlete Jordan Carter decided after two years of playing volleyball and softball at Marshalltown CC that she would continue her volleyball career at William Penn University.

            At MCC, Carter ranked second on the team with 325 kills and her 391 digs was third most. Carter earned Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Player of the Week honors twice during her volleyball career and finished her two-year stint at MCC with 594 kills and 653 digs.

            While at Sigourney, Carter was tremendous in several sports, but in volleyball particularly she excelled. Carter had over 1000 career kills and led the conference her senior season with 344 kills and 61 aces. Carter also was an excellent pitcher in softball as she was named an all-state first team pitcher her senior season, and continued to play both sports at Marshalltown.
