Sigourney City Council Meeting

            The Sigourney City Council met Wednesday, Feb 4 at 6 p.m. There was discussion to hire new assistant pool managers for the 2015 pool season. The council approved three police candidates to do POST and MMPI testing. The police department had 13 applicants; five performed testing on Saturday, Jan. 31 with three of them passing. A public hearing date was set for March 4 at 6 p.m. to discuss the City Budget Estimate for fiscal year July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m.
