SK bowls well at Osky Saturday going 1-1 as a team

OSKALOOSA- The SK bowling team was in action Saturday, Jan. 7 at Mahaska Bowl in Oskaloosa. They had mixed results as a team, but continued to see advancements in individual bowling from certain bowlers. As a team they continue to bowl at a good rate, and will look to continue their success moving forward. SK’s head coach Trisha Brooks had the following to say regarding her team’s play; “We fell to Oskaloosa by 253 pins, but beat Norwalk by 267 pins Saturday. Our high bowler was Holden Huffman averaging a 208 in individual games, with Tanner Halleran following with a 164 average. We had some struggles at the individual level, but we came out and gained some pins in Bakers, averaging 177 with a high of 205. We are happy with our turn out, still Osky is 2A and a class ahead so being that close is great, plus defeating Norwalk, who is in our class, was big.”
