SK Cheerleaders set eyes on prize

Award-winning Pizza Ranch in Sigourney was bustling Dec. 8 with the familiar scent of freshly baked pizza and the distinctive clatter of plates on the table. There was also an enthusiastic array of faces that are normally seen pounding away on the wrestling mat, but this night they were instead seating and greeting patrons.

SK Wrestling Cheerleaders, coached by Sheri Walker, do ‘Tips Night’ at Pizza Ranch each year to raise money for hotel rooms for events such as State Wrestling. However, this year they had a different need.
