A 2-0 mark in conference play last week left Scott Edmundson’s Tri-County baseball club tied with English Valleys for second place in the SICL standings heading into this week.

Seven hits and a good outing from Jake Brumbaugh were enough for the Trojans to pick up their fourth win of the season on Monday against Sigourney. Brumbaugh, a junior, struck out 11 and gave up five hits in six innings of work to lead Tri-County to the 5-3 victory.
