TC Track Sets Numerous Season Bests

It is around this time of year when track and field coaches want too see their athletes start performing their best.

Tri-County coaches Keith Kiburz and Rachel Heck witnessed just that last week in meets at BGM and Montezuma.

The Tri-County boys set six new season-best times last Tuesday at BGM’s Bear Trax Classic. In the 100-meter dash, TC’s Zach Bolinger set a new personal best with a time of 17.13 seconds. The Trojans recorded two personal bests in the 200-meter dash at BGM. Clocking in with a time of 25.40 seconds was Nick Watts, while Jacob Bombei crossed the finish line in 26.90 seconds. Bombei also notched a personal-best time in the 400-meter dash by running a time of 59.40 seconds.
