Tri-County FFA Hosts Annual Friends of the FFA Banquet

On March 27th, 2014 Tri-County Community FFA hosted their annual friends of the FFA banquet. This event is a celebration of achievements of FFA members from the past year and serves as a platform to thank community supporters that have assisted the chapter in the past year. The meal consisted of beef brisket and pork loin prepared by our Superintendent Dr. Alan Meyer with the assistance of the FFA banquet planning committee. Cargill Meat Solutions, from Ottumwa, were very generous to donate pork loin for the banquet. We were also very fortunate to have special guests including Representative Dave Maxwell, Senator Ken Rozenboom, and Iowa FFA Vice-President James Leonard in attendance.  Read the full article in the April 16 edition of the News-Review.
