Tri-County Speech sends two to All-State
The State Individual Speech Contest was held at Cedar Rapids Kennedy this weekend, featuring the best speech talent in Eastern Iowa that included English Vallleys, Pekin and Tri-County. 24 area students performed at State for a spot in the All-State Festival on March 26 at the University of Northern Iowa, with two making it through the strict selection process. Seniors Myrissa Garber and Skyler Fisher of Tri-County for the third time in their high school career will go to All-State together. This will be Garber’s fourth year selected for All-State.
