Tri County's 2017 Homecoming Court

For the Trojans, homecoming is all about team spirit and coming together as a community. This year will prove to be no different with a variety of activities throughout the week,

Monday students will get together and decorate staff doors, a tradition that has been going on for a long time. Dress up days are always a fun friendly competition and a way for the classes to earn points , with the top class receiving a pizza party. Monday will be Millionaire Monday/Formal Attire Day, Tuesday is Grandparents/Senior Citizen Day, Wednesday is Disney inspired fun, Thursday is Tropical Thursday and Friday is Fired up Friday.

Throughout the week there will be male volleyball games played over lunch with the top team taking on the staff on Friday, as well as Powder Puff and other various homecoming games on Friday put on by Student Council.

Home events throughout the week include a JV football game versus Moravia on Monday night and Varsity Volleyball versus Keota on Tuesday as well as the Homecoming Varsity Football game on Friday versus HLV.

One of the most talked about events for the week is Boom Night. New this year is a smoked pork loin dinner served from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. before Boom Night by Tri County Strength and Conditioning (T-STAC) This meal will be served in the cafeteria. At 6 p.m. the stands will be packed for a night of team spirit with a dance and cheers from Mrs. Kirkpatrick’s cheerleaders as well as introductions of all of the volleyball, football, cheerleaders, and student council members.

Skits will be given after the introduction of the 2017 Homecoming Court and the crowning of the King and Queen. The court will then be auctioned off as well as any left over pork loin from the meal. The evening will conclude with the Fight Song.
