Trojans in action at Lone Tree in both girls and boys track

LONE TREE- Tri-County had both their girls and boys track teams in Lone Tree on Tuesday, April 11 in the Lone Tree Invitational. Seven schools participated at the meet, as the host school won the male and finished runner-up to Arrows in the female Divisions. Waco, New London, Cardinal, Iowa Mennonite and Keota all competed as well.

            The Lady Trojans took seventh with 15 team points, as Emma Miover led the way for TC with 7.25 points. Miover took third in the 400 M dash with a 1:13.43 run. Taylor Dowd ran sixth place in the 100 M with a time of 15.67, while she just missed the top-six times with a seventh place finish in the 200 M. Miranda Little took tenth in the 100 M and ninth in the shop put, but did get two team points with a fifth place finish in the discus with a throw of 79’ 2’’.

            Skyler Fisher finished in eighth place in the 800 M run, with a time of 3:41.71. Sydney Gatton nearly made that coveted top-six spot with her seventh place finish in the long jump, having a best jump of 11’ 3’’.
