Trojans defeat Savages on Senior Night with offensive surge

THORNBURG-The Trojans had a pair of players in Cameron Krumm and Jacob Bombei score 20 points on Tuesday, Jan. 31 when they faced off against the Sigourney Savages. The offensive outpour was enough to propel the Trojans but Sigourney 56-47, avenging a road loss at Sigourney earlier this season.

It appeared to be a low-scoring game at the half, with TC up 19-15, but TC would score 37 in the second half due to very timely shooting and good ball movement.

Bombei added 12 rebounds on the night while Krumm added ten. Walter McKay added eight points, seven rebounds and four assists as well for TC. Sigourney was led in scoring by Dustin Haines, who led all scorers with 24 points on the night. The win is the second-straight for the Trojans, and their fifth on the season as they now have the same amount of victories as Sigourney.
